Apartment for sale in Sax, Alicante

So, we have a stunning family home in Sax which is probably the best place to live in Spain due to the incredible infrastructure and it is a Spanish inland town that can be reached with great public transport and only 35 minutes from Alicante Airport and the beach. How does it pay for itself? Good question and the answer is fairly easily as I have rarely seen a property that screams Airbnb like this one. For a start it is in the cultural heart of the town right underneath the 13th century castle and with stunning views which means that a Tourist Licensed is a formality and you can then use the two top advertising portals Airbnb and Booking.com safely. Ok, back to paying for itself. Sax is an incredibly successful and busy town as the factories on the outskirts that specialise in canopies and blinds have been growing year on year which brings in workers from all around and business people coming for meetings and there is only one Hotel in the town. The Airbnb business is booming here and the surface hasn´t been scratched yet.  The Hotel charges 82€ per night and is constantly full so people have to look for alternatives. The ground floor has enough space to make it into a one bedroom self-contained apartment, also the top floor, the third, has the same possibilities which means that you can offer a 4 Bed accommodation with a terrace and similar properties are achieving up to 125€ per night plus a cleaning fee. I would suggest that 100€ a night would be the starting point and with good marketing you can easily see how the numbers add up, a mere 20% occupancy in the first year whilst the business is growing would bring in around 7,000€. It is rare that properties in this area have parking but in this case there are four parking spaces opposite the house and 50 yards away there is space for at least a dozen cars in San Blas Plaza.  The house is just beautiful and in absolute walk-in condition with plenty of outside space and the previously mentioned breathtaking views including the most outstanding views of the castle. The bedrooms are on the second floor and the third floor is a fabulous entertaining area or is ready for more accommodation to be fit in. It has to be seen to be appreciated fully. The owner has reduced the price from 130,000€ to just under 100,000€ in order to attract buyers and a quick sale. Why Sax? There are no traffic lights, it has a 13th-century castle and there are no traffic wardens but there are streets full of restaurants, bars and cafes. What? That isn´t enough? Sax is so popular because it is far enough inland to be “inland” yet it is only 30 minutes to Alicante Airport and 35 minutes to the beach.  Access is by the A31 Dual Carriageway Alicante to Madrid road which runs just outside of the town, by rail and coach from Alicante so you can go to the beach and not have to take your car, and now we are only five minutes away from the AVE station at Villena. The AVE is the high-speed train from Alicante to Madrid which has only four stops and we are five minutes away from a station where onboarding will have you in Madrid in 2hrs 9mins for as little as 20€. Let us stick with the town of Sax for now rather than escape to the beach or the capital city of Spain. Sax is dominated by its 13th-century castle known as the Headlight And Guardian Of The Border a landscape of history and rock. When driving back home to Sax after daylight the sight of the castle, fully lit, and seemingly floating in the air is one of the most welcoming sights I have ever experienced. Commercially, Sax was only affected in a minor way by the economic crash as it is the home of three major international businesses selling “persianas y toldos”, window blinds and sun canopies and a shoe industry that means if you recently bought a pair of shoes in Debenhams, for example, the chances are they could have been made in Sax or nearby Elda.  Recently we have seen the opening o.
