The Site  The Former Netherplace Works site is located within a semi-rural setting to the west of M77. The M77 is elevated above the site and runs along the eastern periphery.  There are a number of residential properties within the vicinity of the site. The field to the north of Netherplace Works is undulating farmland which is bounded by it's north side by Aurs Road and the M77 to it's east. These developments when fully built will create circa 1,200 units.  Planning  The site benefits from planning permission for the erection of a retirement residential community, care home and multiple purpose village centre and the formation of a new access road from Aurs Road.
